BlueJeans Video Collaboration Tool
Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
BlueJeans is used 2-3 times per day within our company. It helps employees from different offices have daily meetings without having to travel.
Area managers have daily operations meetings before heading out to appointments and our sales reps discuss sales targets, training and and any other business. I use BlueJeans to provide IT relevant training to staff who cannot make it to head office.
Pros
- The quality of the video is excellent. We have a low bandwidth network and we have tried and tested other vendors. They didn't have the same excellent video and audio quality that BlueJeans has. BlueJeans works great on our network.
- We can easily share our screens or a specific app or window which is great for training.
- The security options for BlueJeans are excellent. You can add a pass code and change the meeting ID number.
- It's easy to invite users to meetings via calendar invites or by simply sending the meeting ID.
Cons
- If I have logged in using my username and want to join using a meeting ID later, the Windows app seems to remember my email address and defaults to log in in with that. This confuses users who want to login using the meeting ID.
- We have 6 offices across Scotland and this saves employees having to travel from Inverness to Dunfermline. This allows operations managers to have face to face meetings every morning to discuss issues before heading out for the day. Sales reps from different regions can also have daily meetings to discuss targets and collaborate with each other on sales tips and techniques.
- Our recruitment team use BlueJeans for interviews with candidates who don't have access to Skype.
BlueJeans has more features than Videxio such as calendar and security user options.
