Use Cases and Deployment Scope

BlueJeans is currently being used by my organization to set up conf. calls with one of our top customers. It is used by the entire organization that supports this customer to enable us to be efficient in the way we conduct our meetings. Due to the limitations of our current conferencing and web system, our customer has had numerous problems trying to connect to our system, and instead of continuing to have issues and pushing the customer to use our tools, we switched to BlueJeans and were able to solve any connection problems.

Pros and Cons

Very easy interface, the navigation on the right-hand pane is super simple to use.
Connectivity is quick and simple, loads fast.
The ability to link your phone number to the system so it recognizes who you are is valuable.

The website to modify options, etc. is a bit cumbersome and not intuitive.
Once you share your screen you can't see your audience anymore.

Return on Investment

The meetings have been quicker to get started as nobody is fumbling around trying to figure out how to connect.
Since the video is quite clear and you know who you are talking to, face to face meetings down the road are less awkward since you know who the person is and you have pretty much met them face to face.

Alternatives Considered

Skype for Business (formerly Lync)

Skype is a bit of a clunky tool vs. BlueJeans. Unfortunately, our company requires Skype for conference calls, but due to the needs and requirements of the customer we support, we are able to use BlueJeans which has helped move meetings in the right direction a lot quicker vs. using Skype.

Usability

Joining a meeting is very simple. I always use the web version as that works best within our firewall access and getting to the meeting quicker. Once I use the "webrtc" link, I am logged in VERY QUICKLY, from there I just need to dial the number and add in my passcode to identify who I am and the meeting is a GO! Turning my video or audio off is very easy once I join so no complaints there.

Likelihood to Recommend

BlueJeans is well suited for small and large conference calls where you need to control who speaks, who is presenting and need to connect quickly. The app is very easy to use and the screen sharing feature is very nice. The integration with Outlook helps plan meetings quickly. The response time for anyone on the line is quick and we do not see delays.

BlueJeans is a top tool, hands down.
