Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
The whole organization uses BlueJeans for video conferencing and meeting recording. I use it as a backup for in-person lectures for days where classes are canceled. I record a meeting of just myself and send a link to students. I also use it to host remote office hours for struggling students.
- Recording meetings
- Screen sharing
- Sharing recordings with other users using the could
- Easy to use interface. It is very intuitive and much better than the competition I've seen (Century Link and Adobe Connect are much more difficult to learn)
- I don't want to download the plugin. It's much easier to use the browser version and takes less time to load the meeting. Consider making that option the default and not having a separate plugin that loads a new BlueJeans application. I find that unnecessary
- When in screen share, I would like a pointer/highlighter function. I currently rely on my mouse pointer but that can't highlight or draw text as far as I can tell
BlueJeans is far easier to use for web conferencing and recording meetings than the competition. I also appreciate that BlueJeans allows users to select audio from the phone and that it will call you rather than having to dial a specific number to join a meeting, which I've experienced with competition products such as CenturyLink.
