Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

We use Brightmine to get insights on employee law cases, tribunals, etc. It also helps provide us with other types of wording for letters we require. I am pretty new to the role, so my use is currently limited in what it could be, however I enjoy perusing the articles and information.

Pros

  • Provides information on tribunals.
  • Good templates.
  • Clear to use.

Cons

  • Potential more key topics.
  • More specific cases such as maternity probation.
  • Dashboard to be more inviting.
  • I am unsure.
Brightmine has taught me more about the legal aspects of policies like redundancy, which has prevented me from advising managers incorrectly.
For me, it has helped me gain further legal understanding ensuring our legal compliance.
I have not used any others.

Brightmine appears to be better when you are looking for
generalized advice or templates. It can provide lots of good templates for general scenarios like maternity leave, redundancy, etc. However, there could be some more specific templates for less obvious scenarios. Although I appreciate these may be unique, a lot of cases are not unique in nature; the frequency
is just less.
