Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

Brightmine has been a great asset to us for the salary benchmarking exercise we have recently conducted. There is a wealth of data available across various industries on the platform, meaning that we can trust Brightmine as our primary data source for when we repeat the exercise in the future.

Pros

  • Variety of industries.
  • Variety of skill level clearly labelled.
  • Ability to save previous searches.

Cons

  • UI is tricky to use.
  • The job and skill codes could be made easier.
  • Can be time consuming to perfect the data that you need to collect.
  • Saved cost on using external resources.
  • Trusted sources being used.
  • Saved time on external research.
I have not been impacted by Brightmine in this way.
Brightmine has allowed us to uphold our internal salary benchmarking processes to be fair within our industry standards.

As mentioned in my previous comment, we have been using Brightmine for our new internal salary benchmarking procedures as one of the primary sources for data across our skill levels and varying seniority within the business. I do not know when this tool would not be appropriate, as this is my experience with it.
