Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We most frequently use Brightmine for lots of letter and policy templates, which are incredibly useful and helpful in getting you started and contain lots of relevant information. We also use some of the interactive flow charts and for information relating to trending topics. The webinars are also really useful and interesting to attend.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Providing templates for policies that are up to date in terms of employment law
Breaking down resource types and topics into easy-to-navigate areas
Keeping users up to date with employment law changes through webinars/podcasts etc

Cons

Some of the letters are hard to navigate through, for example the flexible working ones - there are a lot of letters and it's not always easy to find the ones you need so it would be good if they were broken down into sub-categories when there are a lot of templates to choose from.
Some basic letter templates appear to be missing, using FWR as an example again, there isn't a template for a standard rejecting a request letter.

Currently we only use the HR & Compliance Center.

It allows me to save so much time writing letters and policies from scratch, and allows me to find credible information in one place instead of spending time searching the internet and various other resources.

Customer Support

I haven't had a huge amount of interaction with the customer success team but I do recall joining a call with one of the team when Brightmine moved from XpertHR to demonstrate how to use the new portal and access all the information available to us, which was incredibly helpful and much appreciated.

Likelihood to Recommend

Brightmine has been so helpful in supporting us to update and introduce new policies, as we are able to use their templates as a base for our own policies which saves so much time writing them from scratch. Some of the language in the templates can be slightly direct and harsh and has less of a welfare feel to it, but it is clear and concise and easy to adapt the tone.
