Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine
We use it to keep up with the ever-changing world of compliance. I specifically appreciate the 50-state charts. These are referenced a lot throughout the year. I also really like the email alerts that notify me of new compliance information I need to be aware of, as well as the timetable employers should be mindful of. In 2025, many executive orders were issued by the Trump Administration. Brightmine was a critical resource for keeping up with all the changes.

Cons
- Have a 50 state chart that lists all final pay requirements for a deceased employee.
- Policy requirements that are 100% mandatory for the handbook. This could be adjusted to make it crystal clear what is really needed and what an employer may want to add.
- Chat support. I don't think this feature has ever worked on the site.

Brightmine tracks over 10,000 pieces of legislation across all 50 states and 130+ jurisdictions, which supports our multistate compliance needs.
I am responsible for US compliance for over 81+ legal entities. Helps me stay on track and up to date.
My interactions with Brightmine’s customer success team have had a very positive impact on my overall experience with the platform. Their responsiveness and expertise make it easy to get clarity on complex HR or compliance topics, and I always feel like my questions are taken seriously and resolved quickly. They don’t just point me to resources—they help me understand how to apply them, which saves time and builds confidence in the guidance I’m using. I’ve also appreciated how proactive and personable the team is. They follow up, ensure I’m getting value from the tools, and make the platform feel more like a partnership than a subscription. Overall, the strong support from the customer success team has made Brightmine both easier to navigate and more impactful in my day‑to‑day work.
We like Brightmine because they are a global company and offers the most information for the countries where we have employees. Having a one-stop shop for all things compliance for all countries is essentially huge for us. As we grow, we know Brightmine will still be our go-to source.
