Overall Satisfaction with Budgyt

I use Budgyt software to create annual budgets for two companies. One company is in the service industry so our labor costs are a large part of the budget. Budgyt software does such a great job at calculating payroll and benefit costs.
  • Payroll Taxes.
  • Benefit Costs-Tied to each employee.
  • Commission Cost-Tied to increase in sales.
  • Revenue Projections are based on a supporting Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that can be updated at any time.
  • Balance Sheet. I know this will be rolled out soon. Not sure I will use it but it would be nice.
  • We have had better control on labor cost. The software has helped us project when we need to add new employees to handle our contact center volume.
  • Running different budget scenarios helped us navigate the impact of Covid on our business.
Budget Maestro-Centage is good software. It's a bit pricey though.

The software is very detail-oriented so setting up new employees each year and updating benefit plans can be a little time-consuming. The time spent is well worth it once the budget is done and you start comparing projections to actuals. Last year with Covid, I was setting up new scenarios every few months. The software is very agile and I love that you can run a scenario easily within it.
