Overall Satisfaction with Camtasia

We use Camtasia to create screen-capture marketing videos and how-to videos to educate our customers on how to use our product.
  • Easy video editing - it's a simple interface that lets you easily edit video and audio.
  • Preset media - I leverage a lot of the media templates to save time (I'm not a graphic designer).
  • Annotations - It's easy to add assets like the lower thirds and custom design them.
  • The export process is confusing, especially with where they output files.
  • I would like more audio editing functionality.
  • We've been able to create 80+ videos in-house in one year.
Camtasia is good for me, a non-video editor, to create and edit screen-capture videos. If you want advanced functionality, you probably need to go to a more expensive solution.
