Overall Satisfaction with Camtasia

Camtasia is used across departments mainly for recording onscreen trainings, meetings, and other onscreen events.
  • Has advanced video editing features
  • Can easily record on screen trainings at high quality
  • Exports to different formats available
  • Speed of processing time takes a long time
  • Heavy application on computer resources
  • Bit of a learning curve to use
  • Bit too many features I don't need.
  • I would rather use Snagit.
Camtasia has advance features and better capture quality where Snagit is best suited for basic capture.
Good for high quality videos. Not so much useful for simple video capture where you don't need all the bells and whistles.
