HRForce!
Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
It is primarily being used as an administration tool for HR and payroll purposes. Longer term it will be rolled out for employee access and use.
Pros
- It integrates well across modules, so you are only configuring once!
- Stable. Once you get to a point of functionality it is not an ongoing project to keep up and running.
- Being handed off to support doesn’t mean you are one your own. This is important because with some products that is how it feels!
Cons
- Wish it would load into the browser quicker. Why is this the case? Should be less of a data load than a GUI.
- A little more transition time from implementation to support. Would make it easier for user and support. Key here would be transition not handoff.
- First the timing was driven by end of life of prior product.
- The elimination paper in the payroll and timesheet space has been transformational. Deadlines that were routinely missed are now met without exception.
- Time chasing paper has saved our small organization 6-7 hours per week. This is a huge time savings for us.
Compliance, and ability to prove, with our bargaining units is much improved versus prior paper and worksheet management.
Related tracking and management of benefits eligibility is much improved.
Missing link is vacation tracking and payment for one of our bargaining units. Seems as if we have the only SEIU contact on Ceridian (52 week look back for vacation pay.)

At this time we only use the compensation tools in HCM.
Hiring and scheduling (for all purposes) is planned for calendar 2019.

I noted earlier that a single application takes away a lifetime of integration problems and anxiety.
