Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Dayforce for Time & Attendance, Payroll Processing, Benefits and HR. It combined multiple systems to one so we eliminated double entry. Also, increase access for employees.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Allows payroll to view checks prior to pay period ending
Allow payroll to view preliminary totals
Comparing Schedule to Timesheets and flagging discrepancies

Cons

Implementation can be a little smoother. It's hard to answer all the preliminary questions on setup when we don't understand all the capabilities of the product or have never used the product.
Some of the support staff are very hard to understand.

Return on Investment

We've been on it for 10 months so have not seen the cost benefits yet, since there are a few tickets open. We are still testing, which is causing OT.

Impact on Decision Making

The scheduling and flow to the Timesheets has been good. Very visible to managers when there are discrepancies; however, if the schedule is incorrect, it does affect some pay rules.
