Overall Satisfaction with Dayforce
We use Dayforce for Time & Attendance, Payroll Processing, Benefits and HR. It combined multiple systems to one so we eliminated double entry. Also, increase access for employees. It's very convenient to have the real time and one platform because it eliminates need for importing hours and also allows reports with actual to-date information.
Pros
- Allows payroll to view checks prior to pay period ending
- Allow payroll to view preliminary totals
- Comparing Schedule to Timesheets and flagging discrepancies
Cons
- It can be expensive to update or make changes to any policies or reports that were set up using professional services.
- Some of the support staff are very hard to understand.
- We were able to move many of our processes to paperless.

Evaluating Dayforce and Competitors
Yes - ADP Timeclock - We replaced it with Dayforce so that we could have one platform and eliminate the need for importing.
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use

It had to be easy to use and able to integrate with our labor management system, Ontrack. Our final decision was based on the fact that Dayforce had a local team that we were already familiar with and also were always supportive in the past so we knew they would be supportive going forward and that it wasn't just for the sale.
Evaluation process would be the same; however, I would make different decisions when setting up during implementation.
Dayforce Implementation
- Implemented in-house
- Creating all the custom reports
- Making sure all our pay policies were applying correctly

No. I don't feel it's needed and our company is not willing to pay.
I created a support case and the lady was exceptionally helpful. She also took the time to teach me some other shortcuts to make what I do easier and allowed me to ask her many other "how to" questions that I had put on the side.
