Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use Dayforce for a variety of HR process including Recruitment, onboarding, HR policy sign off, payroll & benefits administration, workforce management (including time away and employee job / status changes), scheduling, and reporting, We are also implementing performance and succession planning in 2023.

  • Support - their analysts are very knowledgeable about a particular area but often the issue we are trying to resolve involves expertise from a variety of areas and a fix in one areas breaks something in a another area (
  • Reduced manual tracking outside of a system
  • Oversight on processes (how many and how long it take to process) vs manual emails and manual input
  • Automated processes (new hires, employee changes, terminations, leave requests)
  • Reduced the need for an "official personnel file" - information is one place
Dayforce has automated our stat pay calculation's, overtime payments, vacation calculations, time balances (Vacation and sick leave balances) and automates increases to the entitlements (know when to increase an employee's vacation rate from 3 to 4 weeks), starts benefit deductions within policy timelines of automatically after 3 mos, pension contributions after one year.
We can act on candidates quicker (in real time as they apply) and get to them faster. We can quickly identify others in the same job to apply consistency for wage offers with reporting at our finger tips. The scheduling functions allows us to see at a glance who is scheduled when and if we have unfilled shifts that need quick attention
