Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst 9100 Access Points

We widely used Cisco Catalyst [9117 Access Point] Series in our organization. This is the environment we find ourselves in on a day-to-day basis. More than a year has passed since we purchased these access points to aid in our digital transformation. They’re strong, beautiful, and secure, all at the same time. Access points like these improved both the speed and capacity of our internet connection. In terms of speed, it can match traditional LANs but not beat them. Wi-Fi’s [main] goal is to make life easier for people who use it. Its performance and price make Cisco Aironet a strong competitor. These are versatile and can use in a variety of settings, from offices to manufacturing facilities. It addresses the need to keep upgrading infrastructure as old technology dies.
  • Consistency in terms of wireless connectivity and industry/security norms, as well as Power over Ethernet (PoE) and energy savings.
  • Access points can be managed without a separate WLC by using the integrated WLC that ships with the router. Integration with other Cisco product suites and Mobility Express functionality is also included.
  • It's compact, but it could be smaller, and it lacks four antennas for sending and receiving signals.
  • It is difficult to integrate smart net support with other network solutions and is a little costly. Setup is difficult and takes too long after installation.
  • Additional licensing is required for Catalyst 9100 [9117] Access Points, as well as some sort of AI or analysis assistant.
