Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

It is used for client authentication, previously there was a PSK that the majority of the community was familiar with and connected to all our networks automatically. Implementing Cisco Identity Services Engine and authenticating by user has cut our network traffic significantly and allowed for more granular control for users depending on their role.

In an education environment it is very helpful to segregate staff from students and guests. Different resources and restrictions can be implemented, and it cuts traffic by a very large amount just by way of eliminating a PSK that former students, staff, or parents might already know or have saved.
