Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Intersight

We user Cisco Intersight to manage multiple Cisco Hyperflex Edge deployments as well as (2) pair of 6454 Fabric Interconnects w/Chassis and XBlade Servers.

Pros

Cons

  • UI Can be a bit clunky at times
  • Make Licensing easier.
  • I dont deal with dollars
I really dont have a true comparison as we have just started down the path of managing our datacenters with Intersight vs UCSM. I can see where Intersight has a better/easier UI in terms of the workflow to create polices/templates ect.
I have only had to open 1 case concerning Intersight and thus far Cisco was quick to respond with knowledgeable support personnel.
Once we are completely off our 6300 series FIs i can see where it will simplify our management process.

Intersight works well for us in the sense that our Hyperflex deployments are easy to manage and maintain. Time will tell how well it works for managing our datacenters with the 6400 series FIs and doing away with on-premise UCSM.
