Cisco Meraki Go is very easy to deploy, and if you have multiple branch offices, you just need to add the device to the dashboard, and you can check the performance from anywhere. The dashboard is also user-friendly easy to understand to configure the devices and generate the reports from the dashboard.
One of our customers has the existing cisco switches, which were classic models. And we have suggested they use Cisco Meraki Go and switch as they were extending the network. We took the connectivity from the classic 2960 switch and connected it to Cisco Meraki Go switch to get the internet and other wireless services. This means the integration part is very easy with other cisco products.
Because we don’t have to go on-site to deploy the devices, the dashboard software itself can be used to configure the devices. Also, you can do the configuration well in advance before your device arrives on-site. And also, for any firmware upgrade, you don’t have to visit on-site; you will be performing that from anywhere,
If you are with Cisco classic wireless, which is on premises-based and all your ap are in flex mode, it will be very difficult to manage. And you need extra hardware to get the report for the users. But in Cisco Meraki Go, we will be getting everything in a single dashboard.
Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager), Cisco Catalyst 2960-X/XR Series Switches, Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 4000), Cisco Webex Board Series, Cisco 3504 WLAN Controller
The customer was looking for a wireless solution that could provide user analytics with detailed information. If classic Cisco then it needs multiple servers and devices to do the implementation. In Cisco Meraki Go, you don’t have to go with multiple devices; just connect the AP to the dashboard, and you will get a detailed report of the users, and they are accessing.
