Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MR Wireless Access Points
We have been deploying Meraki MR Wireless Access Points in many of our customers. Most of them return to us to repurchase other Meraki products after we provide them with the best wireless solution they could ask for. Cisco Meraki MR Wireless Access Points offers everything an IT team could need, from industry-leading cloud management to powerful features that enhance business operations and improve the user experience, including guest access when required.
Pros
- cloud management who is very beneficial for the IT team
- Data analysis and insights gathered from each AP
- Enhanced security features
- Providing WIFI 6E and now 7
Cons
- I wouldn’t necessarily say Meraki needs improvement, but adjusting the licensing model for distributors could be beneficial. In some regions, distributors are unable to purchase a standalone one-year Meraki license, as invoices are bundled with larger amounts. From a technical standpoint, however, Meraki access points remain among the best in the industry.
- Each client returns to buy more Meraki.
- License renewals are a key factor in our yearly renewal targets.
- Providing a solution from one of the best vendors.
The IT team can handle 90% of all fundamental configurations with just a few clicks through the Meraki dashboard, making management incredibly efficient. A big plus I would like to mention is that the dashboard is accessible also via mobile devices, allowing for secure, remote network monitoring and configuration anytime and from anywhere.
Having a network built primarily with Meraki equipment such as Cisco Meraki MR Wireless Access Points, MS switches, and the MX security appliance ensures a well-structured, centralized management system for every component. The IT team has complete visibility into network performance through real-time insights, allowing them to monitor and optimize operations effortlessly
I believe others dashboards are more complex, not so simplified compared to Meraki. This user-friendly aspect of Meraki really sets it apart for many businesses looking for a straightforward and efficient way to manage their network. Compared to the price range Meraki has and its features I can say that it is the best vendor to chose from.
