Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki Wireless Access Point
We were looking to upgrade from the Cisco Aironet Access points in two of our office locations and replaced 20 Cisco APs with 10 Meraki APs. The Meraki's provide much faster coverage and network speeds. The Meraki Cloud Dashboard is easy to use—administration, firmware upgrades, and setup were a breeze. Very happy with the decision; Meraki support is also excellent.
Pros
- Wider coverage
- Faster network speeds
- Single dashboard management
Cons
- Additional user training
- IT Admins really like managing the Merakis—set and forget.
- Alerts when devices or network goes down is great, which we never had previously.
- No more users complaining of slow network speeds on WiFi.
