Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Mobility Express

It is used in the management building of my factory. The best and useful part [would be] if my one [Cisco] Mobility Express failed, it will automatically be switched to another AP as a Controller. We do not need a separate controller with [Cisco] Mobility Express.
  • Interference mitigation
  • New update provides bandwidth control at all levels
  • Radius integration
  • Hostnames should be resolved properly against each device
  • 4 band of optimization is not good as compared to WLC
  • Software updates should be easy and simple

  • The AP on which Cisco ME is running are rugged and very durable, due to which my investment is secure
  • As it supports all types of wireless standards, I don't have any problem connecting new devices also
  • It also supports 802.11ac wave 2 which provides a very good future provision
As ME can be configured on multiple APs, and if one AP gets down, it doesn't affect the network as it will be up from another AP, so ME is very reliable.
We are using it 24x7 and it never hangs or create problems in connectivity.
Cost is the main reason to go for [Cisco] Mobility Express.
Cisco Mobility Express is well suited for small to medium-size businesses where separate WLC costs make an impact on the budget, so making the AP a [Cisco] Mobility Express will reduce the cost.
