Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MX Firewalls

Cisco Meraki routers provide cost-effective WAN solutions that are quick for us to design, deploy, operate and manage for our clients.

Pros

  • Built-in security and PCI compliance reporting
  • SD-WAN functionality
  • Easy deployment with templates

Cons

  • Troubleshooting
  • A better management display for security issues on the management dashboard
  • Our clients have a quick ROI due to savings SDWAN gave them.
  • ROI for clients was also improved by the lower costs to manage and operate the network.
Cisco Meraki routers are far easier and faster to deploy. They are also easier for clients to manage as they require less specialised skills.
They have been great, in my experience, for networks of over 100 sites for deployment and management. The effort for both of these is a fraction of traditional routers.
