Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Secure Firewall
We currently use a variety of Cisco Secure Firewall products. From ASAs to FTDs. Single Mode and Clustered. The ASA is one of the easiest products to learn to use while the FTD is easy to utilize but finding what you're looking for might take a second or two.
Pros
- geolocation blocking
- easy of use for rule creation
- traffic analysis
- permitting traffic with ease
Cons
- dashboard locations. Example NAT under Device Management
Cisco Secure Firewall help prevent malicious activity in our environment by blocking traffic that is not explicitly permitted.
I used the features mentioned below almost on a daily basis. Everything from creating simple ACLs to creating complex NAT statements for VPNs.
