Overall Satisfaction with CMiC Construction Platform

CMIC is used as a true ERP application across the entire enterprise, including financials, project controls, human capital management, enterprise content management, project management, field, and mobile.

Pros

  • Integration of disciplines across the enterprise.
  • Strong support for payroll, especially union payroll.
  • Wide variety of third-party applications, such as Kofax, DocuSign, Vertex tax, etc.

Cons

  • Reporting and analytics could be improved. We have had to develop all of our own.
  • Obtaining application support is cumbersome and time consuming.
  • Very limited web-based standard training and inline help assistance.
  • Improved visibility of all disciplines within the organization.
  • Strong project financials controls.
  • Strong subcontractor management.
Very strong integration, feature-rich, and comprehensive construction application, really the best construction ERP in the market. Customer support needs to be improved as well as standard reports and analytics.
