Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense
It's being used across the organization.
- The scanning of receipts makes it very easy to digitize and submit expenses.
- Booking of hotels and flights is as easy as any travel portal. I have used these capabilities to book my travel on the go. This makes it easy for me to be mobile and work efficiently.
- The fact that expenses can be submitted using just a mobile device, make it easy for me to submit these even when I am at the airport, waiting to board my flight. So, this saves time for me.
- Make scanning of multiple pages easier.
- When I attach multiple receipts into the same expense line, they get merged (appended) into a single file. I can no longer delete one of the receipts. Hence, if I want to remove only the scan of one receipt, I need to delete the entire set of appended receipts for that line, and then attach the limited set of receipts again.
- Should have better offline capabilities, so that I can submit even when I am on a plane. I can then sync the same when I have connectivity, and then the system can provide me the error messages as applicable.
- Time saved booking hotels.
- Time saved filing expenses.
- Time saved booking flights.
SAP ERP was integrated. Provided near-real-time cost data.
The ability to scan receipts and process the receipt (crop, etc.) is particularly helpful to submit receipts faster.
The overall period for getting reimbursed for the expense is substantially lesser. On an average, I get reimbursed within a week, which is much better than 4 - 6 weeks I have seen in other organizations that I worked with (which did not use Concur).
