Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

Concur Travel and Expense is being used across the whole organization to report our travel and other expenses to the company. It is user friendly application and it can scan the reciepts and display the expenses.
All expenses can be stored at one place for submission
  • Scanning of reciepts is used widely
  • Mobile app enables us to add the adhoc expenses easily while travelling
  • Options shown while travel bookings can be improved
  • Mobile app sometimes is very slow
  • Overall its very userfriendly to manage expenses
  • Its a good ROI as we are able to track all expenses and define specific validations to avoid unnecessary expenses
Speed of expense management. Ability to set various levels of approvals as needed. Company card managements and the expenses on the card can be automatically integrated. Ease of uploading reciepts any time.
Travel bookings can be made easily.

Areas to improve are the hotel booking options. Last time there was availability of hotel was shown as not available in concur when i called the hotel they had the availability for the conference at a very low price than shown on concur.
As an employee, it has benefitted me the most since I travel for work and also submit my expenses via concur for various trainings/seminars.
It is very user friendly and helps me with my schedule and find the right options based on my company's budget allocation.
I mostly do not deal with admin side of it as its mainly by finance group, however, i feel its very easy for them to manage and maintain the system.
If the company has many employees who frequently travel and who would need to submit expenses, it is well suited for such organizations.
It is also suited where company allows to submit expenses for any purchase or training as well to report it to the right cost center.
It may not be suited for small organizations where expenses are very little and are closely monitored by only certain individuals.
