Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense
Our entire organization uses Concur Travel and Expense, in every department, however, only employees with company cards use it, so not every employee is trained in or has access to it. Concur Travel and Expense provides a way for us to track and record all expenses, as well as use it for travel bookings.
Pros
- Starting an expense report is easy.
- Notifications for missing information on an expense report is clear.
- Finding previous expense reports is easy.
Cons
- User interface is not as modern or clean as other online platforms.
- There seems to be a lot of information on the page that I don't regularly use.
- Sometimes there is a delay between sending in receipt images via the email and receiving them in the platform.
- Once trained, employees using Concur rarely need further assistance in submitting expense reports.
- For employees that don't have a lot of expenses, but still need to submit regularly (monthly), the flat rate submission fee is not a good ROI.
- Once used to the system, submitting an expense report is quick and easy to do.
I have only used Google Sheets to submit expenses prior to using Concur, and while Google Sheets got the job done, it was not as streamlined, easy to navigate, or as integrated into the broader system. While I don't have much experience with other expense management products, Concur Travel and Expenses seems to be a good standard to use, trustworthy and secure.
As a user, I cannot speak into answering this question, unfortunately.
Concur Travel and Expense has not helped our organization evolve, grow, and adapt as far as I am aware, but the features seem to function well, be reliable, and serve our needs. We have used it for many years now and have not received complaints about it or expressed desires to change platforms.
Concur Travel and Expense has benefitted users at our organization by providing an easy to navigate system for any employee to use, once trained. Training does not take a lot of time, and once an employee has experience using the platform, it's pretty much plug and play. We have a small staff in Accounts Receivable, and they are able to manage a wide variety of expense reports and travel booking through Concur.
