Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight
Conductor is being used across multiple departments, including our international content team and our technical/engineering team. Each team uses it in a slightly different manner, but generally for the same purpose of tracking SERP rankings, monitoring site traffic and doing competitive research.
- Excellent customer service! They are super responsive to our needs, wants and questions.
- Uses data from SEM Rush so we know that the numbers we see will be consistent across multiple tools and platforms; this also saves us the trouble of having to use multiple tools to do research.
- Really easy to see how the competition is doing and where we are lacking, and monitor that over time.
- The platform is most advanced for US use, and is a little behind in terms of non-US domains. However, since we have been using Conductor they have improved the international capabilities immensely and are continuing to do so, keeping us in the loop and taking our ideas and suggestions seriously.
- There can be times when the pages load slowly, which is frustrating, but can be understandable given the amount of data it has to process and load. This is a minor pain point and doesn't happen very often.
- Since this is a newer/growing platform there are definitely a few details and functionality pieces that are missing, but we often give feedback and new feature ideas that we feel confident are taken into consideration.
- Has allowed us change a few things that will increase conversions, based off of results of a few tests we could track in the tool.
Condcutor has a MUCH more user-friendly UI (no dead ends like we ran into with BrightEdge). It's easy to see that all of the data and sections of the platform are related and accessible from all areas. Most pages are dynamic as well, so no making changes or selections and then waiting for the page to reload and reflect those selections like BrightEdge.
