Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight

Conductor is used for a variety of things including keyword research, tracking ranking over time, and SEO. It's used heavily in the digital marketing team and helps us keep track of our keyword rankings.

Pros

  • Easy comparison between your and your competitors' keywords.
  • Generating reports is fast and simple.
  • Analytics enable you to track how you're ranking overtime.
  • Mobile app is a plus.
  • Customer service is top class.

Cons

  • Naming convention is a unintuitive.
  • Improved search rank position.
  • SEO efforts more responsive.
Customer support has been one of the best I've received from Conductor. They have a chat box that connects you with a real person as well as your account manager. They are very responsive and helpful.
Conductor saves a lot of time in terms of reporting. You can set up a custom report with a specific frequency for automatic generation.

Using Conductor Searchlight

Workspaces is especially helpful when setting up workflows for different strategies. For example, you can create a workspace solely for tracking competitor keywords. You can create another just for optimizations on low hanging fruit.
