Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight

Our SEO & Content departments rely heavily on Conductor to monitor clients' SEO performance, track competitor performance, analyze prospective clients and perform ad hoc reports and analyses for clients. We use Conductor's Workspaces to send automated keyword reports to our clients, significantly saving us time from manual keyword reporting. Conductor's category comparison tool allows us to keep a close eye on how our clients' sites are performing on a category level, giving them more accurate insights into the performance metrics they care about.

  • Would like to be able to export all ranking keywords for any website, as some competitor tools are able to do
  • More frequent keyword ranking updates
  • Clients appreciate the accuracy and frequency of our keyword reporting, creating strong retention rates for our agency
  • We also use Conductor to monitor our own company keywords, allowing us to treat our agency as a client and improving our own SEO performance
Conductor has always been an extremely friendly & professional company to work with, more so than some of their competitors. It is a true pleasure working with them, and they are always helpful in addressing our particular questions and needs.
I was using Brightedge for a couple years (after using Conductor before that), but I recently switched to this agency, which uses Conductor. I am happy to see the significant improvements they have made to the platform; it used to be a little less easy to use. Now, I feel that all the modules, reporting, and general UX is much more user-friendly.
If you are managing multiple client accounts, Conductor makes it easy to monitor performance across all client accounts and quickly get a good handle on how those sites are performing. It is also a great tool for competitive analysis, as well as conducting SEO audits into new sites/prospective clients. Conductor has made significant updates to its UI, making it easy to screenshot good-looking, clear charts and add them to client reports.

Using Conductor Searchlight

The InsightStream gives us good high-level takeaways that help us to monitor many accounts simultaneously without taking up too much time. We recently implemented Workspaces as an addition of our monthly reporting, which will also save time from manual keyword reporting. The usability of the platform has significantly improved in recent years.

Hearing that you used us in the past then came back after a few years to see the improvements is awesome. We've been working really hard on simplifying our UX. For downloading competitor keywords, try our Domain Explorer feature. You can look up any site and see an index of keywords that you should then be able to export.
