Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight

Currently the SEO team are the primary users of Conductor. We are working closely with the content strategy and creation teams to provide insights on keyword recommendations and performance, so that they are able to make data driven decisions. We rely on the tool to provide insights on content optimization, keyword performance and segmented reporting for the executive team and by different lines of business.

Pros

  • Keyword tracking - a huge asset for an Search Marketing Team.
  • Workspaces - the reporting functionality is robust and allows us to be as high-level or granular as need be for the respective audiences.
  • DeepCrawl - the website crawler functionality is an excellent tool that provides technical insights on the website.

Cons

  • Weekly tracking - we'd love to see more real-time information.
  • Search Rank position improvement
  • Increased Organic traffic to specific product pages based on content optimization recommendations
  • Owning the the Answer Box results based on Conductor recommendations.
Conductor's support structure is incredible! They have unparalleled customer service from start to finish from the initial on-boarding to ongoing customer service. Our account manager and customer service manager essentially act as an extension of our Search team. They are available at almost any time to support any of our needs.
Conductor helps our team review & report on performance. Where it really shines for us is with respect to our keyword tracking, keyword performance and content analysis and optimizations recommendations.

Using Conductor Searchlight

Conductor is very easy to use and understand. The training modules are well designed and easy to follow. We rely on Workspaces to provide insights to various teams within the organization at a high level (executives) or at a granular level (specific lines of business). The SEO team uses the InsightStream for a recent changes in performance and opportunities to improve.
