Overall Satisfaction with CrashPlan

Crashplan is used for file level backups for my clients that need more than 500GB backed up to the cloud.
  • Simple to set up.
  • Easy to see what is being backed up.
  • The service is extremely fast on the initial backup.
  • A clearer understanding of the different services would be helpful.
  • A more modern (clearer) user interface.
  • Linux support.
  • ROI is extremely quick considering the price point. I was able to fully retire my tape backup drive after 6 months.
Crashplan is easier and less expensive than the competition.
Mozy Pro, Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service), Carbonite
Crashplan is well suited for companies that have a lot of data to backup to the cloud.
