Overall Satisfaction with CSRconnect

We use CSRConnect to log all volunteer activity, promote engagement opportunities, collect donations with Matching Gifts, run fundraisers, and issue Dollars 4 Difference grants. Sometimes we incentivize employees with giving cards as well.
  • Being a central hub for all giving data.
  • Managing giving transactions and match applications.
  • The usability of the back-end is terrible. They are in the midst of an admin transition that doesn't seem to have an end in sight.
  • Cannot log in-kind donations such as people who participate in supply-related giving drives.
  • Resolving issues takes weeks, not hours.
  • Some of the reporting is more efficient, but some is lacking.
  • We are currently at 28% adoption and shooting for 50% by year-end. It's difficult without a mobile app.
They have some good functionality, but can definitely improve usability on both the front-end and back-end of the site.
Great to have dedicated help, but the turnaround time is slow.
We had a relatively smooth implementation with the exception of some SSO issues that should have been easy to resolve. The fact that they cannot clone their DEV/QAS environment into Production leaves it wide open for human error. The other surprise we had was in implementing payroll integration. They were not able to help with ADP integration, which we were led to believe.
They seem to be the leader in the space and it's still not a great solution. I'd call it a good solution at this point. I'm hopeful that they will take the time to listen to their customers/super users to update the product as-needed.
