Overall Satisfaction with D&B Finance Analytics

I use D&B to determine the financial stability of potential groups. I can use the D&B reports to help me determine if we can quote disability coverage or provide a financial discount.

Pros

  • Financial strength of group
  • If they are financially trending upward or downward
  • Informing me if they group has gone through bankruptcy

Cons

  • I would like to have a group's financial score listed with the number of employee and SIC code
  • More information to why a group is trending upward or downward financially
  • The above are the only two improvements I can suggest
  • Better assessment of risk
  • Has helped secure new business as we are willing to go deeper on a financially strong group.
  • Better communication with out sales partners and as explain why we may not purse a group.
I have only D&B financial information.
We have an internal contact that will contact D&B for us if there is an issue. The response time is very efficient. Usually within a few minutes.

I truly love the D&B report. It gives me detailed financial information. It helps me determine if we want to quote long term disability to a group. We have found the stronger financials a group has, the less likely we will incur a long term disability claim.
