Overall Satisfaction with D&B Finance Analytics

We use D&B Finance Analytics to do an initial baseline assessment of a company that we are considering investing in. From this, we know exactly where to deepen our research. The breadth of the D&B platform allows us to cover a lot of ground and avoid having multiple service providers.

Pros

  • Payment History.
  • Legal Related Searches.
  • Identifying potential business headwinds in the next 12 months.

Cons

  • More interactive information about the scoring at the point where scoring is provided.
  • More input as to how credit recommendations are calculated.
  • More information about sources of data for reference/recording purposes.
  • better analysis of potential investment companies.
  • Knowing where to look for a particular problem that we might not have seen.
  • Input as to forecasted severity using D&B proprietary models.
D&B works nicely as a first line of defense for UCC analysis and then allows me to investigate more specifically on UCC HUB, saving both time and money and getting better results.
Customer support is exceptional, very responsive, and gets on video calls quickly to help.

Excellent for company research, credit and legal analysis, and working capital research. Digging into the legal analysis still requires accessing alternative sites.
