Overall Satisfaction with Dashlane Password Manager

I use Dashlane Password Manager to save all of the passwords for the websites I use on a daily basis as well as to fill out credit card information without having to get the card out every time. This saves me a lot of time as I do all of the administrative work as well as oversee office projects for our company.

Pros

  • Auto Fills my email address
  • Auto fills credit card info after master password prompt
  • Auto fills passwords
  • Manages multiple logins for one website

Cons

  • The auto fill for forms replaces information I have typed with my information
  • If a password is updated on a website, the prompt to update Dashlane Password Manager is confusing, not sure where to click
  • Would be nice if the Dashlane Password Manager auto categorized websites by function based on a best guess
  • Reduces time spent looking for passwords I use less frequently
  • Reduces time spent having to request new passwords if forgotten because I have them saved already
  • Very efficient with auto filling out credit cards
I have used several other password managers in the past and Dashlane Password Manager is very user friendly. I have already stated the areas where it could improve on functionality but overall I find it easy to use and very comparable to the other password managers used in the past. This Dashlane Password Manager was already in use when I joined the company so I have not quoted out other password managers to see how the price compares.

Yes

Dashlane Password Manager is well suited to keep all of your regular passwords saved for ease of use when logging in to website I visit frequently. It is less suited for times when I am filling out a form on a website especially if it is for another colleague because it will replace their information with mine if I click to have it auto fill just the address.
