Overall Satisfaction with Dashlane Password Manager

We use Dashlane Password Manager as our company password manager. It makes my workflow a lot easier and I sleep better knowing that our staff is able to use a secure method for storing password and sensitive information. The secure note feature is great for sharing information. The ability to set a Group, and delegate sharing to the note via Group membership as staff rotates in and out of positions that need the information is wonderful for an IT department.

Cons

  • Account recovery for former team members
  • MFA QR Code scan from Chrome browser.
  • Would like to have better archive functionality for past staff.
  • Having a tool like Dashlane Password Manager means I can save on time that my department manages for account access. I don't want to think about the amount of time we would spend on account recovery without Dashlane Password Manager in play.
  • Our environment is much more secure with Dashlane Password Manager. Training staff to use it saves me from worrying about staff improvising with less secure methods.
  • Onboarding new hires is easy. Send them a Dashlane Password Manager invite, add to Groups, and they have what they need
Dashlane Password Manager is great for the price. Some feature sets of competitors are lacking, but I'm happy with what we get for the spend. We are a small enough company that I can walk people through the steps, and it isn't something that comes up enough to complain about. Password generation, storage and use are all great.

Dashlane Password Manager is great at offering a corporate solution for password management. Using the chrome extension makes it easy to train up staff that may be reluctant to use unique, secure information for their logins. In the event that a login needs to be shared with other staff members, Dashlane Password Manager makes it easy to securely share the info.
