Overall Satisfaction with DeepCrawl
As a digital marketer, I have had past experience with this tool in a wide range of different roles. Typically we have used this tool to support with analysing websites, and supporting with any SEO activity that we have proposed to a client. This has particularly been useful to understand where a website is ranking, and if there are any issues as to why it may not be ranking higher.
Pros
- Really good to understand when and where any issues are on the website
- Helps full breakdowns for each website, to understand where to improve
- Helps work out where content etc needs to be optimised, which can then be passed to the content team
Cons
- As a non SEOer it would be useful to have information tool tips to help understand what a particular element means (without having to ask another member of the team)
- We have been able to improve rankings for our clients due to these insights, and get people onto the first page of Google
- Helped us to prioritise and provide our clients with more insights
I feel like they're both pretty similar from my experience, as I have always used the same things. However, I do feel that deepcrawl is easier to use from a UX perspective and I found it easier to get around to find the elements as I required them.
