Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Dialpad Talk has become invaluable for hybrid work. When I'm on the go I can still accept work calls or I can opt to silence the calls by setting my preferences to Do Not Disturb within the app. I've been really loving using the computer based app when I am in the office and the notifications have been seamless in Windows. I am also starting to use: text messaging within the app, the voice to text voicemail feature, the ability to import contacts from my phone (and add contacts only to the app), and adding my celling phone as another line a lot more.

Alternatives Considered

Zoom

Ability to integrate with the phone line and transcription service. There is not an easy way to work all the necessary features into the other products and Dialpad Talk seemed to deliver the most value over traditional phone service.

Dialpad Talk is an improvement over traditional phone systems allowing integration with your mobile and computer that is very convenient. It has allowed me to be completely mobile without having to give out my cellular number which is a plus. It is a little daunting to learn all of the features and ability to customize to our needs, but after some time I think it will become more familiar. Interoffice calls and messages are also very easy and have somewhat replaced emails.

Scalability

So far, Dialpad has been a great improvement for our organization. It allows everyone to be on the same service and the integration with the mobile app means everyone is still using the "office" numbers even when on the go which makes it easier not having to balance multiple phone numbers from people.

Reliability and Availability

There have not been any outages that I am aware of and we have had consistently good coverage since the start. There can be a slight lag from the office to the mobile app, but it is not terribly noticeable and it has not resulted in any calls being prematurely hung up.

Performance

The emails of voice transcription come very quickly after a call has been completed and except for a few fairly difficult names are pretty accurate. The ability to quickly listen to the voicemail from email without having to open the app is also a bonus. I have not noticed or heard of any slowdowns.
