Dialpad Offers Talk, TXT, Recording, Forwarding, and High Quality Sound
Overall Satisfaction with Dialpad Talk
We purchased Dialpad Talk because we needed an integrated talk and text solution that functioned as a landline. Since getting it, we have been very impressed with call transcription, call recording, and the way that voicemail works, doing a quick voice to e-Mail translation for us. We are not using it in our pawn shops and bars where we really don't want people calling us anyways, but we are very much using it for professional workers, sales, and collections.
Pros
- Text messaging Is easy
- Caller ID Is nice
- Calls Are recorded and transcribed
- You can easily rename callers
Cons
- They don't seem to support any wireless handset well
- Their mobile phone app is pretty good, but it doesn't function well on VOIP over 4G/5G. It works best over a Wi-Fi connection - I would even say that it's good on a wi-fi connection
- Text messaging
- High quality voice
- Operates with our old phone system
- Reasonable For base configuration
- It's hard to calculate ROI, but it's clearly making people happy
- Text messaging is a plus - customers love text
We still use ITP. It's cheaper, but customer service isn't so good, and the technology is very stale. Their only advantage is that pricing is very low for a high number of extensions and lines.
