Overall Satisfaction with DigitalPersona

We just have one department using it for their specialized software, to verify that it is them and to validate each step of a process.

Pros

  • Logs into Windows desktop.
  • Install was slick.
  • Support during install was excellent.

Cons

  • After the original appointment, we kind of stopped hearing from them. They have said that they just got acquired.
  • Users like to use it for their Windows login and the third-party app will use it which will make it nice for them. Since we are just starting to use it, I don't have any ROI info.
We have not used any other product like this.
For us, it is well suited to allow the user to authenticate themselves without having to type their password. They have an application that could require up to 20 authentications during one process, so it saves time.
