Overall Satisfaction with DonorPerfect
We use DonorPerfect to track our donations from all of our donors. These donations come in from the mail and from fundraising events. We do not sell these names that are held in our database. So far, we have not had any problems, as a matter of fact, we recently went online with DonorPerfect and have found it much easier to use than the previous installed version.
Pros
- The tracking is more detailed. Which means that we are able to keep a much better record of our donors.
Cons
- We use uploaded templates for our thank you letters and every year we like to change it a bit so that the letters are not the same old story. By doing this we have multiple letters that are on file and cannot be removed from the template section. it would be VERY helpful to not have these letters mixed in with the updated versions.
- On the installed version I had "hot keys" S for Save, D for done etc. With the online version I do not have those and so my work has been slowed down quite considerably because now I rely on the mouse more.
- I also wish that those who are in our database that are listed "do not mail" would not be accountable in our pricing. They are entered due to sending in a one time donation but do not want any further mailings from us.
- The customer service and support are amazing. They are so very patient, which for someone who has worked in customer service before, is big.
- Because of how easy it is to use, DonorPerfect has been a HUGE asset to our organization.
