Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Sign

As a special education teacher, I am responsible for the creation, distribution, and securing of agreements on legally binding educational records. In many cases, due to the vast number of team members, positions, and schedules, there are often times when one or more team members can not meet in person or when a virtual meeting is easier. In these instances where I require signatures, I am able to easily upload, designate signature/date/initial locations, and then disperse to all team members in a timely manner. Due to the nature of my documents, I also appreciate the log, which is kept through Dropbox, which allows me to provide documentation if ever needed to support my communication efforts.
  • Clearly designates where/what signatures or information are needed.
  • Sends reminders if documents are in waiting.
  • Allows you to designate multiple signatures and responsible parties per document.
  • Timely collection of signatures from team mates of various locales.
  • Wider range of color coding available for signifying a particular party.
  • Less reminder emails.
  • A premade template for explaining the process of Dropbox for new users (those on receiving end of the document, not myself).
  • Faster time to complete paperwork.
  • Less time spent managing/sending reminders as follow up.
  • Reduction in paper copies to organize.
For I find Dropbox incredibly easy to use and navigate. I still, at this age, though, run into many of my families who open conversation with "I'm not good with technology." I find in those cases that I wish there were a color-coded, explicit template to attach to an email before sending signatures over to show how easy the process is. My biggest obstacle is honestly is negative preconceived notions.
Based upon my personal needs for Dropbox, I haven't had a great need to dig into Dropbox's customization options and as such gave it an 8 simply because of my own lack of knowledge in this area.

In my line of work, I have not come across areas where Dropbox isn't well suited. It has met the demands of my various users for over four years now. The largest obstacle I have faced is explaining the process to those who do not feel strong in their abilities to use technology.
