Druva Data Resiliency Cloud and Me!
Overall Satisfaction with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud
We have a pretty big chunk of our workload inside of Teams/SharePoint while also using M365 with Exchange Online and OneDrive. We need to make sure this data is backed up and accessible in case of an emergency or the occasional accidental deletion. Druva Data Resiliency Cloud lets us accomplish this with a very simple user interface. Switching to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud has saved our IT staff time and makes our user base think we are actual wizards
Pros
- Simple User Interface
- Cloud to Cloud setup, no hardware needed
- Easy Onboarding with a knowledgeable engineer
Cons
- Clicking On OneDrive data to restore takes it to Exchange data first then you need to click on OneDrive
- Saves our company over $1500 a month buy having an all in one platform
- Frees up IT Team time to work on other projects
- Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 and 11:11 Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS)
Before Druva Data Resiliency Cloud we used Veeam with the cloud provider 11:11. Veeam was great and did what it needed to do BUT it left a large footprint on our production environment with setting up gateways and proxy VMs for the data. 11:11 was iLand and they were always awful, constant unscheduled downtimes and anytime Veeam released a major patch or version we would have to wait MONTHS for 11:11 to get their environment ready. With Druva Data Resiliency Cloud being cloud based none of those things are a worry anymore
