Overall Satisfaction with Druva inSync

Backs up Office 365, particularly Exchange Online.

Pros

  • Works automatically in the background.
  • Runs all the time.
  • Is a very reliable way to backup Exchange Online.

Cons

  • The logging is overall not very complete and detailed.
  • The alert management system is REALLY not very good. We often get alerts and then have to log in only to find nothing wrong. And the logs don't show the issue.
  • The reporting is limited.
  • The cost is reasonable
  • It saved our rears more than once when a mailbox had issues and needed to be restored.
  • It gives us a sense of security knowing we HAVE a backup.
We are currently evaluating our entire backup strategy. As we move more to cloud, our current on-prem solutions don't seem to cut it.
The implementation went extremely quickly, but there were issues we had to iron out in the beginning.
