Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Druva Security Cloud has made it so much easier and simpler to manage backups, test backups, and restore if necessary. Having backups in cloud with redundancy gives us some peace of mind as well. It has made keeping in compliance with our policies and regulations so much easier as well--we can simply print a report to show our backup schedule, data retention policies, testing, restores, --whatever they ask for. It has increased productivity and efficiency within the team

data stored at multiple locations (backups of backups essentially)
portal is easy-to use and to set-up backups and policies
logs of any failures, restores, etc
very easy to restore servers, VMs if necessary

Cons

"archive" backups that no longer change/added to, but still need that backup for compliance purposes
more detail when backup fails (what went wrong)
the old portal (when it was Phoenix) was easier to navigate

We started using Druva Security Cloud specifically for off-site, cloud backups, and it works beautifully for that. It is easy to use and setup, offers great protection, and peace of mind, and the reporting aspect and notifications are very useful. It gives us backups of data we have in other SaaS applications (we first download the data to a server, which is then backed up by Druva Security Cloud. Druva Security Cloud does not integrate with the SaaS). But it gives us our own copy of our data that otherwise we would not have.
