Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace

We are using Dynatrace to provide business relevant user experience data to our business partners, along with monitoring and alerting on system issues.

  • Usable out of the box
  • Full stack monitoring with business context
  • Reporting
  • Dashboarding limitations
  • We are still working on getting the value, but it’s coming
Datadog does not have any APM capability, so you would need multiple tools to accomplish what Dynatrace does out of the box. It was a no-brainier.
If you want to understand what your users are doing, and what they are experiencing, and be able to drill down into problems right to the code level, then Dynatrace is the tool you need.
