Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace
Dynatrace is used as the premier enterprise monitoring tool at Air Canada. It is currently used by our monitoring and IT operation center teams. We use Dynatrace to monitor various applications in the Air Canada network including our website - aircanada.com and our check-in channels including mobile, web and airport kiosks. The main business problem Dynatrace addresses is visibility. But it also does so much more to help us reach root cause analysis quickly and automatically. Whenever we have issues on an application, Dynatrace automatically detects the problem and sends an alert to our ITOC team to investigate the current issue.
- AIops - automation is king, and saves time/money.

Dynatrace ended up being our choice over AppDynamics and Adobe Analytics because of the full stack monitoring capabilities. Where these other products allowed us to see limited slices of our environment, Dynatrace promises to give full visibility into everything. We started out small with AppMon a few years ago, but over time we saw the constant improvement of the product - much faster than these competitors. While it wasn't perfect, and many times it was a struggle to get it to work the way we wanted. So when Dynatrace was coming out with a new product, we jumped at the opportunity to change over to it.
