Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace
Dynatrace is being implemented across the organization. For my business area, Dynatrace helps us to effectively monitor a truckload of hosts with minimal manual oversight. Also, Dynatrace plays a key role in impact analysis for both business areas (internal users) and external users. The analysis graphs are very useful to help leadership visualize a problem.
- Problem impact analysis
- Root cause analysis
- Need a framework for tagging
- More examples and/or comparisons (e.g., when JVM GC takes too long, what does that look like in Dynatrace?)
- We are more responsive to outages
- Can provide impacts analysis quickly
- Dynatrace Network Application Monitoring (NAM) and formerly DCRUM
I would consider Network Application Monitoring as looking at and under the foundation, while Dynatrace provides insights to the house and structure.
