Overall Satisfaction with Elementor

We have a bulk food store and sell many of our items online. We use Elementor to edit our home page, hours/contact page, sales page, etc. It is a lot easier to edit using Elementor since it provides a drag and drop style of editing versus the more complicated alernative of coding.

Pros

  • Utilizes a Drag and Drop style of editing
  • Keeps things mobile and tablet friendly
  • Formats things nicely and keeps things uniform
  • Gives lots of options for adding text, images, buttons, html coding, etc.

Cons

  • It can be hard to remember to switch to mobile view to make sure it computes well on cell phones and tablets.
  • The updates sometimes can mess with the theme and site, and requires some editing to get it back to the correct format.
  • There is an Elementor Pro version that gives more options, but it does cost a yearly fee, which can add up over time.
  • Our sales have really grown over the past five years of using Elementor. We went from fulfilling less than five orders a month to now 10-15 per months. And we are a small bulk food store with a small audience.
  • We have been able to add plug ins along with Elementor to customize our products, store, and pages.
  • We haven't done as much with SEO and Elementor. I feel like this is one area that we could probably do better.
I love Elementor and would be lsot without it for our site! I love that I can assign page roles for everyone involved on the back end, so we can work as a team to make the site exactly what we want. I also love that I have so many options to customize my site and also keep things mobile friendly. I only have a basic understanding of coding, which makes Elementor so nice. You really don't need to know a whole lot of coding to make a really nice site.
Elementor is a bit of a different platform than, say, easyTithe, Robly, and Apptivo, but it is comparable to Shopify. I feel like Elementor and WooCommerce are a lot easier to use than Shopify, and it doesn't come with such high fees. For our business, it was no choice! Elementor fits great for our needs!

Do you think Elementor delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Elementor's feature set?

Yes

Did Elementor live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Elementor go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Elementor again?

Yes

I feel like Elementor is a really great option for the web editor that isn't as familiar with coding and wants a more simple way to edit the site. It gives you all of the things you need to build a really complex site with without making it feel overwhelming and complex on the back end.

It may be less apporpriate for a very large business or a website that requires more specific edits and coding, but for most scenarios and small businesses, I think it is perfect! We are very happy with it!
