Overall Satisfaction with Emma

We were using it as our marketing email platform. We've kept it for 2017 but we're currently migrating to a more encompassing marketing automation platform. Emma gave good stats about open, clicks, etc, but there was no way to connect that data to our CRM. We used it for email communications to clients and prospects. It is only used in the marketing dept.
  • Reporting was clear.
  • I liked that I could quickly and simply build surveys.
  • Sending email tests was easy.
  • The list functionality, especially between groups and sub-groups, was really hard to use and confusing.
  • It took a lot of practice to use the email builder; the icons were too bulky and often overlapped.
  • I had previously used HubSpot at another company and just preferred that to Emma.
  • I did not select Emma; it was already in place when I arrived.
  • I believe that it was a helpful tool until it became overwhelming necessary to integrate the data with CRM.
I was not with the company when Emma was selected. In my personal experience, I preferred HubSpot.
I think it is acceptable for small-to-mid businesses; We use Microsoft Dynamics CRM and not being able to integrate the Emma data was a deciding factor to switch/use it much less.
